Choose fresh Berries and unsweetened Greek yogurt for a macro friendly option.
Ingredients
1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt*
(Choose Greek yogurt for more protein)
1 ripe peach, sliced or fresh berries (Blueberry, Strawberry, Raspberry)
1/2 ripe banana, sliced (optional for added carbs after a workout)
1/2 cup granola
* For a vegan option substitute your favorite Vegan Greek-style Yogurt
Directions
Place the yogurt in the bottom of your bowl.
Arrange the sliced peaches and bananas over the yogurt.
This is the key step to avoid soggy granola: Add the granola right before you are ready to eat. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup granola directly on top of the fruit and yogurt layer.
Serve immediately to enjoy the maximum crunch from the granola alongside the creamy yogurt and fresh fruit.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of cinnamon on top of your fruit before adding the granola. If you don’t have fresh fruit, frozen berries that have been thawed work wonderfully too.
